As we move through 2026, we take a moment to reflect on the impact your generosity has made possible. Through the combined efforts of our donors, volunteers, and community partners, Dalya has achieved milestones that would have seemed impossible just a year ago.
In the first half of 2026 alone, we distributed over 12,000 pieces of clothing to more than 1,200 families across five regions of Ghana. Our volunteer base has grown from 30 to over 150 active members, and we have established partnerships with 18 local organizations to help us identify and reach the communities that need support the most.
But numbers only tell part of the story. Behind each statistic is a person — a child who now has warm clothes for school, a mother who can dress her family with pride, an elderly man who no longer has to face the cold nights without proper clothing. These are the real measures of our success.
One of our most impactful initiatives this year has been the School Uniform Project, through which we have provided uniforms to 300 children who would otherwise have been unable to attend school. Education is the surest path out of poverty, and by ensuring that children have the clothing they need to attend school, we are investing in their futures.
None of this would be possible without you. Every item of clothing you donate, every cedi you contribute, every hour you volunteer brings us closer to a world where no one goes without the basic dignity of proper clothing.
